On The Road

2016 Review

~~As Lynn and I look back at 2016, we can't help but rejoice at the goodness and grace of our Lord who has guided and protected us throughout the year. Seriously I can't begin to tell you everything that has occurred this past year. We both remember how just 16 years ago we stepped out by faith into Evangelism and Revival work. WE felt like Israel must have felt when they stepped out into the overflowing waters of Jordan's River. Israel was about to step onto the land that had been promised to them as a nation--a land they had never walked on before. Well, it was a time of anticipation, obedience and a little nervousness as we stepped into the work of itinerarnt ministry--but how good our God has been.

Journeys 2016

The Travels Lynn and I have taken in recent weeks/months have literally taken us all over the United States--I mean "ALL OVER!!" We have been from New England to the Southwest to the Northwest and back down to the Southeast and presently in Florida. And we drove most of those miles. We love the travel part but I'm telling you the amount of miles across this Country has reminded me just how Huge it is! But what a time we've had serving our dear Lord. I want to tell you about it and show you some special people & things along the way.

2015 Travels

~~Well, here we go again with a report on our journeys. this year, 2015 has had us in a number of locations of course. Here I am preaching at Southland Christian Camp located in Ringgold, Louisiana. It is always fantastic to preach to teenagers during a week of Teen Camp, but this summer was EXTRA-SPECIAL  due to the fact that I got to share the pulpit with my son, Andy. the two of us "tag-teamed" the week and it went very well. The teenagers made several good decisions for Christ. It was great to hear Andy preach to teenagers. I can't tell you how proud I am of his ministry!

2014 journey

2014 has been a fruitful and extremely blessed year for our ministry. Praise to the Lord for His watchcare and anointing. I want to give a brief and quick overview of some of the places where we've been in the last half of 2014. Thank you for taking the time to read through our report and for your prayers. How moved I am by the number of friends we have across the country.

End of Year, 2013

I've got to admit to you friends: I love to preach! This is what is at the Heart of all that we do in our ministry! Even though there are plenty of sights to be seen and a few other things that we do in our travels--the Main Thing that keeps us going is the preaching of God's Word and watching what it does in the hearts and lives of all who listen. The Gospel is powerful and we've watched many lives changed through the proclamation of it. In this end of 2013 report, there will be images shown of sights that we've seen, but always remember that the main thing Lynn and I are involved in is attending church services and preaching God's Word to those who've attended our services.

Summer, 2013

I love the summer months--there is nothing like them for this Evangelist! By the time June rolls around each year, I find myself thinking, "I am so ready for a change from the church revival schedule." And Wow, do I ever get a change. Summer brings Teen camps from all over the Country. There's nothing like the experience of preaching two-three times a day to a room full of teenagers. Take a teenager away from his cell phone, his music and some of his misleading friends and put him under the sound of preaching each day for a week---and you have the formula to see some great things happen. First of all you get to see the effects of the Gospel. It is thrilling to see young people come to Christ after they hear of their sinful condition before Holy God. Then to watch countless numbers of young people surrender their lives to live for that same Gospel is incredible indeed.

Western Trek, 2013

Every three years Lynn and I take off for the Western part of the United States. Usually we will spend two months in various locations all over the West. We used to live in Arizona and became quite burdened for churches and ministries there. The need for evangelism and revival is strong. We have found that we see more people come to Christ everytime we go. Well it was time to once again head West. We spent January and February in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. We want to tell you about your Journey!

Summer/2012

Summertime is always filled with lots of laughter blended with tears of conviction. I am speaking of the privilege I have every summer to preach at various teen camps. This summer was no different but seemed to be marked with the power of God and His blessing from week to week.

Spring 2012

As we have entered into this New Year (2012) Lynn and I have certainly seen the Lord show His mighty power and blessing. I can't remember a time when we have seen so many blessings and God's provision/power/protection. He has given us many wonderful weeks of meetings; I almost don't know where to begin.

Spring and Summer 2011

It's time to give another report of our recent months on the road in Revival and Evangelism. I thought I would start with a picture that reveals what I find myself doing a lot of: PREACHING! I wouldn't have it any other way. What a great privilege and a glorious responsibility.

Winter 2011

We've had some extremes this winter in our travels. I was privileged to preach at the First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake Florida in January. This is in the Miami area. Wow, God met with us in every service and spoke to many hearts each night. 8 people accepted Christ during that week and we also had some outstanding services each morning in the Christian School chapels. I even got to go deep-sea fishing one day and caught a "Trigger Fish"—whatever that is.

Summer 2010

I suppose many would say that summer is now over—but wait! As I write these words I have to fall back on my early childhood structure of thought: Summer doesn't officially close until Labor Day! Isn't that written in the Constitution somewhere?

Winter 2010

As the New Year of 2010 has arrived, Lynn and I found ourselves out West once again. We attempt to travel to the West coast every three years to be with churches in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and California. This year we were able to be at some new churches and some churches where we’ve been before.

Spring 2009

It is always a thrill for us as we start a new year in revival meetings. We count it such a privilege to be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and exhort Christians to grow in grace. As we began this year of meetings it was our fervent prayer that the Lord would allow us to see more souls saved than ever before in our meetings. To God be the glory, up to this point, there has hardly been a week go by that people have not responded to the good news that Jesus saves.
